Weapon Holster Test
Using the armour design Thomas and I developed, I have started to experiment with some different ways to hold our weapons when we aren't using them.
My sword is quite large so a waist holster wouldn't really work.
As shown below, I simply mounted two pegs to rest the sword on, one under the gaurd to hold the sword up at the top and one at the bottom that the blade rests on. I wll likely make them U shaped so it is easier to place the sword in. Its quite hard to get it onto that bottom peg with the armour on!
With continuing mods to the armour and holster, I should have a workable system soon.

All about the story
The reason we are doing all this costume designing and such is to make some awesome videos!
The characters page has info on characters as we create them and add them to the story.
Have any story ideas, feel free to post them.

Materials
If anyone finds any unique materials, or ideas of how to use them please feel free to post it.
I myself have a nearly unlimited supply of recycled cardboard of all types from work (shipper/receiver)
On an interesting side note, we just had our first thunder and lightning of the year...
One of the objectives of this club (are we a club?) is to make our armor for basically free.
That means using materials that we would regularly recycle, anything from cereal boxes to toilet paper rolls to appliance boxes, to milk jugs and pop bottles.
Here are some examples of unique stuff I have;
If you could collect a whole bunch of these you could make some sweet chain mail.

Armor stand
Thomas and I came up with this cool armor stand thing to hold up the armor for working on or just to keep it from getting bent up when not in use. Super easy to make and basically free if you have our access to wood a saw and nails at the farm...

Philips Suit
My Progress so far...
So far just testing out some ideas with the materials that I had readily available. Thomas and I spent one evening working on helmet ideas and brainstorming ways to make the actual body armor. Still working on something for shoulders.
Testing out spray painting prototype helmet.
I think it worked out quite well
If anyone needs some spray paint, I can get it at cost from work. Let me know what colours you need when you get that far. We can possibly even share if needed.
